About

The Douglas County Housing Partnership (DCHP), a multi-Jurisdictional Housing Authority, was formed in 2003 as a cooperative effort between businesses and local and county government to address the issue of the lack of affordable housing for people who work in the area.

DCHP is a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved Housing Counseling Agency and provides foreclosure mediation services and home equity mortgage conversion (HECM) counseling to hundreds of Douglas County residents every year. Additionally, DCHP provides home buyer education and down payment assistance to first time homebuyers who wish to live in Douglas County.

DCHP has provided over $6.5 million in down payment assistance since 2005.

The DCHP operates with financial support from the jurisdictions of the City of Lone Tree, the Town of Castle Rock, the Town of Parker, the City of Castle Pines, and Douglas County as a political subdivision and public corporation of the State of Colorado.
